Rollout of improvement measures
Process improvements must take into consideration several aspects. One of these aspects is to involve practitioners.
A good starting point is to support them in elaborating goals and reasons for process improvements.
This can be done by coaching.
Finally, a successful rollout of process improvements on organizational level can be reached by coaching the concerned stakeholders.
Conclusion: improvements are useless if they are not understood or not implemented in the correct way.
Depending on the developed products, more and more regulations and standards have to be complied with.
A good starting point is to examine which gaps exist between the defined processes and new regulations or standards.
This can be done by a gap analysis.
Once the processes have been improved, an assessment gives an official proof that a project has reached a given maturity.
Check of existing processes towards a standard or model (e.g. with a gap analysis)
